Pros y Contras
Con todo lo negativo y lo positivo en ocasiones vienen en este caso su excepción.
El hombre joven esperando en el personal en el restaurante del desayuno son a veces, pagar unproactive atención al detalle, se congregan en una esquina detrás de pantallas wispering y generalmente hablando. El restaurante le falta liderazgo, muchas ocasiones durante el fin de semana no había pan, platos, mesas sucias, ni siquiera atienden cuando entras, no te ofrecen té o café es como sentarse usted mismo y que apañar como puedas.
Una gran crítica que tengo es que la gente parking sus vehículos en las bahías de movilidad reducida sin tener una insignia azul y el personal de hacer nada. Como desactivado, esto es muy preocupante. Noté que nadie muestra distintivos aparte de mí. Tuve la suerte de poder haber encontrado una bahía, pero durante todo el fin de semana muchos coches iban y venían sin insignia.
En conclusión diría que el hotel 6 10 en una calificación media simplemente porque el restaurante personal no se pro-activo. Yo sugeriría no tomar en durante el verano los estudiantes y el personal ofrecen en vez que se dedican a trabajar en la industria de la hospitalidad.
Volvería como el hotel en sí es fantástico.
Un punto final, soy un miembro platino del grupo IHG y me ofrecieron un ascenso, pero la rechazamos, ya que las habitaciones con balcón son mejores. Quizás poniendo en frente de las habitaciones ejecutivos y usar los balcones sería una opción.

I am very sorry to hear about your experience at breakfast time as this is not the standard of service we aim to provide for our guests at all. Disappointing Visit This Time
The duty manager was not available to discuss my concerns and the senior receptionist asked me to allow her to help. Clearly there was little that could be done as I had checked in an hour before, however the lady was was helpful and supportive and most apologetic. I was offered 3000 IHG points by way of compensation and I asked if I could be moved to a room with a bathtub so at least I got to soak. This was agreed, and I was actually given a suite, though that wasn’t as nice as the smaller balcony room I vacated, but at least it had a bath. Full marks to this young lady for damage limitation. At the time of writing this review there is no sign of the arrival of the compensation points.
The corridors and rooms of the hotel are a little dated and time worn, the the lobby, bar area a restaurant are more modern. That said, the room was clean and the bed not uncomfortable. I was impressed that there was a personalised welcome card linking back into feedback given from my last visit six months ago and highlighting what had been done to correct the the points I raised then. There was also a personalised welcome message written on the mirror and acknowledging my IHG one status. Full marks for initiative and follow through.
There was a large bathroom with a tub and separate shower and with ample fresh towels. The shower cubicle was restrictively small and toiletry rack for the bath was attached to the foot end, meaning that they could not be reached when bathing.
The in room safe in room 239 hadn’t been unlocked by the previous occupant of the room. I reported this at 18:45 when I left the hotel for dinner. On returning at 21:00, nothing had been done about it so I gave up. I was disappointed when I arrived on the first floor, 30 minutes after check-in had officially started and found that the entire length of the corridor was piled high with huge amounts of soiled bed linen and towels. This reviewer felt that this created an entirely wrong first impression. There were two instances, one in the first room, and one in the second room, where my key card failed to operate. On the first occasion, as I was rushing, I asked one of the staff members servicing another room to let me in. I was a little taken aback that this happened without any verification of identity. Clearly this which was a security breach.
The staff in general were very kind and helpful and generally seemed to have a desire to help. It should be noted that on multiple occasions, when passing or approaching the reception desk, it was unmanned for several minutes each time. In my opinion, this needs to be rectified urgently and the reception area should be within sight of a suitably trained member of staff at all times.
The highlight of this visit was undoubtedly my experience at breakfast. The dining room with bright and modern and had a lovely ambience. The range of food items available was excellent and everything was fresh and of a high quality. There was a live egg station, ably manned by Courtney, who had a lively personality and was warm and friendly. Courtney’s efforts and commitment raised the score of this review by a full point. Breakfast in isolation, I would rate as a five star experience.
This is something in the region of being the fourth or fifth time I have stayed at this hotel, and the first time I have not given a four or five star rating overall. I still like this hotel, but based solely on this weekend’s visit, things need to change.
