Fantástico!
El personal de recepción nos dispensó una atención excelente. Sin embargo, aunque nos avisaron de que el restaurante del hotel estaba lleno, las opciones alternativas que nos propusieron estaban todas cerradas. Hay que saber que el hotel se encuentra en un lugar precioso, alejado de núcleos urbanos. En el pueblo hay un bar muy básico y que no aceptaba comensales después de las 19.30h. Al final, después de recorrer varios pueblos de la zona: Caramany, Ile-sur-Tet, Millas, acabamos comiendo una pizza à emporter en un banco de la calle. Todo ello nos llevó casi 2horas. Si la información hubiera estado actualizada, quizá nos habríamos ahorrado todo el periplo.

EL HOTEL DE LOS HORRORES
No sé cómo explicar la mala experiencia de este hotel que parece una cosa y es la casa de los horrores. Imposible cenar en el hotel y o hay nada alrededor, no reservan para los huéspedes, tienes que reservar con tiempo, ¿y si no te gusta? ¿ya tienes que ir las noches siguientes? porque si no reservar con mucha antelación NO CENAS EN EL RESTAURANTE aunque estés alojado y tengan el restaurante medio lleno. te mandan a un restaurante de tapas que tiene al lado de la carretera. Un horror. habitación número 7, como no hay aire acondicionado, a 40 grados tienes que dormir con la puerta abierta, con acceso a una terraza que no es tuya, con cero privacidad. Como la terraza y el restaurante (donde no puedes cenar) está al lado, te duermes cuando el último comensal se quiera ir porque estás oyendolos como si estuvieran en tu habitación, y te despiertas cuando el primer huesped quiera levantarse, en nuestro caso nos dormimos más tarde de la una y a las 7 de la mañana ya habñia un matrimonio con niños chillando en la terraza...un horror.
te bajas y subes tu maleta por unas escaleras increibles porque no hay ascensor. y si tienes valor te bañas en una piscina verde porque no echan cloro, con el covid es ideal. asco de piscina¡
nadie te hace caso aunque te quejes, es todo un despropósito.
Nunca volveré.

Firstly, we thank you for your visit to Domaine Riberach and for your concerning comments on various platforms. We pay great attention to all the opinions expressed by our customers. They help us to improve the quality of our services on a regular basis.
We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay and hope to clarify a few points with our response.
With hindsight, it is obvious that you made a casting error by booking in a Wine Ecolodge that actively promotes values of eco-tourism and sustainable development.
Given the sanitary restrictions we have to put into place due to the COVID 19 situation, we had to reduce the places in the gastronomical restaurant in order to maintain the 1m compulsory distance between each table. Furthermore, as you mentioned about noticing the restaurant half empty, this may have come across to you because our valuable guests prefer sitting on the restaurant terrace too. In these COVID 19 times we need to be able, during every lunch or dinner, in case of bad weather conditions (rain or wind) to seat all our guests inside with respect to the 1m compulsory distance between each table. At our establishment, quality takes over quantity, therefore even if the space might be evident in front of your eyes, we assure you that in order to have a service of quality, worthy of a gastronomic restaurant, we were at our maximal capacity.
However, in all our confirmation emails when a customer books a room, we highlight the fact that we cannot guarantee a place at the restaurant if no reservation has been made, especially in August, our high season, where we are fully booked nearly every night. This is also because our gastronomic restaurant holds an identity of its own, meaning that guests that are not staying in the hotel can also come for dinner if they have a reservation. We always advise our clients to book a table for the restaurant in advance, whereas you chose to wait and book once you get here which we clearly mentioned could be problematic. However, it goes without saying that one does not have to eat every night at the same restaurant during their stay at the hotel, especially when their first experience did not go well. (We assure you that there is no policy of this nature in our establishment, as there are absolutely no cancellation fees applied for our restaurant!)
At every point during your stay, our team tried coming up with possible solutions to improve your experience. We did our maximum and put you in priority in case of any cancellation in the restaurant and even though we did not have any cancellation that night, we managed to arrange a dinner setting for you despite being completely booked!
Domaine Riberach is located in the small village of Bélesta where, as you mentioned, there are limited dining options: our gastronomic restaurant, our tapas restaurant and a snack bar. However, in the surrounding villages (10-minute drive) you can find other dinner options. Our reception would have been pleased to assist you with the information on the neighboring restaurants.
We are sorry to hear that you did not even enjoy our small tapas bar. However, we would like to state that as you didn’t want to eat on the Tapas restaurant terrace, our reception staff did their best and they personally went to serve you on the lounge terrace, which again was an exception made for your convenience.
As an Ecolodge, we indeed don’t use air conditioning. As mentioned on our website as well as other reservation sites, we have a geothermal cooling system (innovative concept awarded by ADEME) that distributes a refreshing air in the rooms on the basis of the « Free-cooling » principle. On the other hand, you have a ceiling fan in your room which is an integral part of the cooling system, and which allows you to have an average temperature of 22 degrees, or even lesser at night. We generally advise the customers not to open the doors, especially when it is comparatively hotter outside than inside.
Room number 7 benefits from a PRIVATE terrace that is not accessible from the restaurant terrace. However, we are truly sorry for the inconvenience concerning any noise coming from the restaurant terrace.
Concerning the lack of a lift in our establishment, we would like to point out that as the cooperative cellar of Bélesta, in which you can now find the hotel and restaurant of Domaine Riberach, is a historic building and in order to keep the character of the structure, it is architecturally not possible to just build a lift into it.
The swimming pool, or rather the biotope, is based on an eco-responsible concept that allows you to bathe in water filtered by plants and without any chemical products that are harmful to the environment and your skin. At the Domaine Riberach you will find the equivalent of the water quality of a river... with birds singing and frogs croaking in the background. You are at absolutely no more risk in our bathing pool, which regularly meets the criteria of excellent water quality (weekly display on the entry section), than in a whitewater bath.
Lastly, we would like to point out that our staff was always available, took you very seriously and did their absolute best in order to satisfy you and counter the issues you encountered during your stay.
Yet, despite all the extra efforts put in by our staff, we deeply regret that you didn’t enjoy your time at Riberach. We shall keep your complaints noted and will try to improve on all the aspects possible from our end.

Pura perfección
El Hotel Riberach y bodega es un oasis en un mar de viñedos en los Pirineos franceses, cerca de la frontera con España Francia/. A unas 2 horas al norte de Barcelona, y justo al oeste de Francia, Belesta Perpegnan, es una ciudad de 200 en lo alto de una colina rodeada tan lejos como el ojo puede ver en viñedos. Sólo a través de la campiña de serpenteantes llegar allí es un lujo. El Hotel Riberach y cave son excepcionales - de primera clase en cada categoría. Nuestra familia de cuatro compartimos una habitación familiar (dos dormitorios, dos balcones y un baño compartido) que ofrece impresionantes vistas de la piscina de agua fresca, amplia terraza y jardines. El hotel (creado a partir de una cooperativa abandonado con las habitaciones encima del viejo vino cubas) tiene una decoración muy contemporánea, y las habitaciones eran cómodas y estaban limpias y bien equipadas. Disfrutamos de una cata de vinos en la cueva y dos de nuestras cuatro disfrutamos de un suntuoso menú degustación de seis platos en el restaurante con estrellas Michelin, "La Cooperativa. " (nota: restaurante abierto de lunes no es de martes). Menos aventureros, mi marido y yo felizmente de los restaurantes 'pedimos un menú a la carta y era igual de feliz con una comida extraordinaria. El personal era extraordinario. También disfrutamos del albornoz y zapatillas de cortesía para un viaje al spa donde nos quedamos en la sala de vapor y sauna. Y por supuesto, el increíble vino riberach. Había una botella esperándonos en la habitación cuando llegamos. Así que está muy lejos de la rutina, no hay palabras para describir el hermoso pueblo de Belesta, y sus estrechas calles de adoquines. Consideramos que nuestra estancia en el Hotel Riberach entre los puntos destacados de un 13 - excursión de un día de Europa Occidental.

Precioso hotel pero con inconvenientes
Precioso hotel diseñado por arquitectos del lugar en lo que fueron las instalaciones de una bodega, conserva el aspecto industrial de la nave en la zona del restaurante, muy bonito. La habitación decorada también con gran gusto. Tiene un restaurante con estrella michelín. Pero... está situado en un pequeño pueblo donde no hay absolutamente nada y al que se llega por una carretera bastante mala. Reservé dos noches porque me pareció que me quedaba bien situado para hacer las visitas que me interesaban en la zona, pero resultó que estaba cerrado el restaurante, con lo que teníamos que cenar en otro sitio, después conducir hasta allí (el pueblo más cercano a veinte minutos) y cuando llegábamos era tardísimo, vamos para dormir directamente, así que fue bastante incómodo y no lo disfrutamos nada. Otro pequeño inconveniente es que al ser un hotel ecológico, la temperatura se regula por geotermia (eso leí) y es muy lento. El día que llegamos hacía mucho calor y el aire acondicionado no se movió de los veinticuatro grados, no descansé nada bien. A pesar de todo me parece un hotel muy apetecible por su estética y sus instalaciones para pasar unos días de descanso.

No tienen claro lo que es un cliente
Hotel standard con habitaciones agradables sin lujo. Amenities escasos. El personal del bar/restaurante se esmeran para complacerte y la verdad es que lo consiguen. No así en recepción: toscos y desagradables. No tienen claro lo que es un cliente y priman el aspecto monetario al huésped contento..., rallando lo absurdo. Tuvimos un "problemilla" que desembocó en una situación totalmente desagradable.

No hay aire acondicionado, pero sí un sistema de calefacción y refrigeración. La recepción abre de 07:30 a 22:00. El restaurante La Coopérative du Domaine Riberach cierra los lunes y los martes. El Comptoir-Cave abre para el almuerzo y la cena los lunes, martes, viernes y sábados, así como los domingos para el almuerzo. El hotel no puede garantizar que haya mesas disponibles en el restaurante el día de llegada. Es necesario ponerse en contacto con el hotel con antelación para reservar mesa en el restaurante.
