Immer ein Ausflug wert. Anschließend empfiehlt sich als Abschluss eine Fahrt mit dem Wikingerschiff.

Horrific Experience
This was a crazy experience for me and for sure.
I travel a lot, and it is the first time I've ever had to alert people back home that if they heard from me again the following morning that it got worse - to get the local main Aschach polizie (police).
My friends in the UK were sparsely communicating with me via WhatsApp on the dodgy internet connection - though I had absolutely no phone signal and couldn't even phone the police if it got worse.
I felt vulnerable, verbally abused, and trapped.
I paid and with insistence, and left without breakfast which they tried to prevent me from doing.
I did not feel comfortable or like a guest - instead I felt under siege, and without access to my bicycle to get away from what was occurring after I became really uncomfortable that night. In fact there was no reasonable place to go within striking distance (by bicycle).
I've previously cycled the Danau Radweg, which is a lovely experience and I did not expect this type of treatment anywhere along this cycling road at all.
I cycled upstream as quickly as I could, and the ferry were alerted to collect me early - which they did do graciously, and they offered me resources at the family owning the Danau Terrace guest house on the other side of the river towards Passau, which I very much appreciated.
What is worse was that the accommodation in Exlau collected data protected information about me, which I intend to follow up with authorities.
I was only lucky to come across the kindness of the Danau Terrace upstream after such a horrific experience at this Gasthof Exlau hotel.

Super radfahrtaugliche Unterkunft direkt an der Donau.
Sehr freundlich und familiär.
Absolut sauber und Zimmer mit toller Aussicht direkt auf die Donau(-schlinge).

Super Gasthaus mit schöner Übernachtungsmöglichkeit
Die Zimmer waren geräumig und mit einem platzmäßig angemessenen Balkon ausgestattet.
Kurzum: Ein supergutes Wirtshaus in einer sehr naturbezogenen Lage.
